NurseTRUST E3 Fellowship Program Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in the NurseTRUST Emerging Leaders Program. The program is designed for nurses in all settings and sectors, such as academia, practice, public health, community, policy, and research, that are new to leadership roles and/or those adjusting to leadership roles in a new setting or context.

Before you start the application there are a few things we want to bring to your attention. 

  • You will be prompted to create an account with NurseTRUST before starting the application. Please use the email you would prefer to be used when following up about the application. 
  • The application requires you to upload your CV or Resume and Sponsor Letter of Support, please have both documents ready to be uploaded. 
  • We estimate the full application will take about 30-45 minutes to complete, please plan to start and complete the application in one session. 
  • The questions on the application are intended to help you explore your current leadership capabilities, your hopes for the future, and how this Fellowship might advance your leadership journey. Your answers to each question should be approximately 250 words.
  • An introductory program fee of $3500 is due upon acceptance 

Program Timeline:
December 5, 2022: Selected semi-final applicants will be notified and invited to schedule a virtual interview with members of the Program Review Committee.

December 27, 2022 to January 10, 2023: Virtual interviews will be conducted with semi-finalists.

February 6, 2023: Finalists will be notified.

February 2023: Planning & Pre-Work Begins with personal reflection, welcome and connecting with your cohorts, meeting your mentor and identifying your leadership challenge.

March 12-15, 2023: The NurseTRUST Emerging Leaders Program will begin just prior to the March 2023 NurseTRUST Summit in NOLA. Attendance at the Summit is required.

September 2023: Program completion
