Gonzalez-Guarda, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum, is the PI and Ryan Shaw, PhD, RN, FAAN is Co-PI, of a $1.4M T32 grant awarded to Duke University by the National Institutes of Health for the study, "Nurse LEADS: Training in Nurse-LEd models of care ADdressing the Social Determinants of Health."
