My name is Joan Holden, and I have been a nurse for over 40 years. In my current role as Assistant Vice President for Student Health and Wellness at Loyola University Chicago, I manage a large interdisciplinary team of professionals at Loyola's Wellness Center. Prior to this position, I was on the faculty at Rush University College of Nursing, where I taught students on the clinical units specializing in oncology. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my 3 adult children. Cynthia P. Paidipati, PhD, APRN, PMH-NP/CNS-BC Dr. Cynthia P. Paidipati PhD, APRN, PMH-NP/CNS-BC(she/her) is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago. Inspired by her education and training at the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Cynthia's research, education, and clinical expertise focuses on mental health, pediatrics, health equity, ethics, and social justice. Dr. Paidipati is also a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in children, adolescents, and their families. She is a Board of Director for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, IL Chapter. Cynthia is active in advocacy and policy work in mental health and suicide prevention. In the future, Dr. Paidipati would like to be a leader in mental health, policy, and health law. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law Program. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys foodie adventures, photography, traveling, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Born and raised in rural Tennessee, I entered healthcare at a young age first as an EMT and later a respiratory therapist and ultimately a nurse. Thanks to great mentors and wonderful opportunities, my career has continued to evolve allowing me to work in a variety of exceptional health care systems and educational institutions while. I currently live in Portland, Maine and, aside from a very busy professional life, I enjoy quiet time at home, reading, cooking, and playing with my golden retriever. Shulamite Odogwu, EdD, MSN, CNE, RNC-OB, C-EFM Jamie Rausch, Ph.D., RN Dr. Jamie Rausch is an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at Indiana University School of Nursing, Fort Wayne campus. When not at work, Dr. Rausch spends time with her significant other, Aaron, her son, Cory, and her pets (dog-Lucy, cat-Tigger).
Eileen Fry-Bowers, PhD, JD, RN, CPNP-PC, FAAN Eileen Fry-Bowers is Dean and Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions. She received her bachelor’s degree from Loma Linda University School of Nursing; her master’s degree from the University of Rochester School of Nursing; and her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Whittier Law School, where she was awarded the Dean’s Citation Award for service. She received her PhD from UCLA School of Nursing, where she was conferred a Chancellor’s Fellowship and named a University of California Regents Scholar. Her current research and policy interests focus on child and family health, as well as the nursing profession and include: examining the impact of social policies on child and family health; exploring the impact of legislative and regulatory change on the delivery of health services; and investigating healthcare workforce education, practice, legal and ethics issues, especially regarding the care of vulnerable and underserved populations. Teresa A. Garrett, DNP RN PHNA-BC Teresa A. Garrett, DNP RN PHNA-BC, is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah College of Nursing and the Division of Public Health at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Her teaching and mentoring passions include change leadership, appreciative inquiry, emotional intelligence, health policy, and population health. Before joining the University, Teresa worked for over 25 years in community and public health settings. Dr Garrett is deeply committed to helping healthcare professionals find and share their advocacy voice using pen, voice, and action. In her spare time, Teresa & her lifelong partner Brian love to hang out with their 3 grandchildren, hike, ride bikes, and generally cause a bit of good trouble.
