We applaud Jacquelyn Taylor, PhD, PNP-BC, RN, FAHA, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum for being named the PI of the five-year R38 Health Equity StARR Program awarded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute on February 7th, 2024 for $2.1 million.

Cheers to Elizabeth Cohn, RN, PhD, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum, Vice President of Health Equity Research in the Institute of Health System Science at the Feinstein Institutes, on being appointed as the inaugural Iris and Saul Katz Professor in Women's Health Research. 

Congratulations to Melissa Batchelor, PhD, RN-BC, FNP-BC, FGSA, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum, Director of Aging, Health, and Humanities, George Washington University School of Nursing, who has received the Distinguished Diversity Award from the University of North Carolina Wilmington Alumni Association.

NurseTRUST is pleased to announce we have joined the Champions for Health Equity through Nursing coalition, which works to improve consumer access to care, strengthen and diversify the nursing workforce, promote nurse leadership at all levels, and advance health equity solutions!

Congratulations to Nelson Tuazon, DNP, DBA, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, CNE, FACHE, FNAP, FAAN, (RWJ Executive Nurse Fellow Cohort 2008-2011) on receiving the Dr. Luther Christman Award by the American Nurses Association. Dr. Tuazon's dedication to supporting and mentoring nurses, particularly student nurses, from diverse backgrounds reflects the essence of the Dr. Luther Christman Award. Dr. Tuazon will be receiving the award at a reception on the evening of Thursday, June 27, 2024, during the 2024 American Nurses Association (ANA) Membership Assembly at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.
