Call for Nominations - Due May 3, 2024

NurseTRUST is seeking candidates for the 2024-2025 Board of Directors - qualified and diverse leaders, with a commitment to our mission - to inspire and enable nurse leaders to grow, collaborate, and transform health, health equity and health care.

This is your organization, join the Board of Directors to help shape its future and the futures of nursing, health, and healthcare. Your voice matters, and your leadership can make a significant difference!

Open Positions:

Treasurer: 

  • Two-year term
  • To qualify, the candidate must have served at least one year on the Board.
  • Oversee the organization finances in relation to the organizations strategic plan, mission and vision and represent them to the Board and membership.
  • Advise the Fund Development committee of the required funding to assure that the organization has sufficient funding to operate successfully and be sustainable for the future.
  • Chair the Finance Committee.
  • Report to the BOD the prepared monthly financial statements and any other required reports.
  • Provide leadership for the organization to assure the mission and vision are supported and organization goals are achieved.
  • Approve the time and place for the holding of Annual Business Meetings.
  • Exercise fiduciary responsibilities including adopting a budget, managing all funds acquired by the Organization, and distributing and dispersing such funds.
  • Recommend changes to the Bylaws.
  • Participate in monthly 90 minute Board meetings and two in-person meetings (one held in conjunction with the Summit.
  • Make or solicit an annual financial contribution

Director-at-Large (multiple positions):

  • Two-year term
  • Serve as representative and advocate for NurseTRUST and its membership.
  • Provides leadership for the organization to assure the mission and vision are supported and organization goals are achieved.
  • Approve the time and place for the holding of Annual Business Meetings.
  • Exercise fiduciary responsibilities including adopting a budget, managing all funds acquired by the Organization, and distributing and dispersing such funds.
  • Recommend changes to the Bylaws.
